FAQ
- 01Virtual design (also called e-design) is a remote interior design service. Instead of in-person visits, we collaborate online — through calls, photos, measurements, and digital tools. You'll receive a design plan that's designed with intention. It will include mood boards, furniture layout, clickable shopping list, and clear install instructions. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, so there’s no guesswork involved. And if any questions come up during setup, we’re just a message away — ready to guide you through the process.
- 02Virtual design is a flexible, and cost-effective way to get professional interior design — without the high price tag or in-person meetings. It’s ideal for investors or rental property owners who want a polished, guest-ready space that photographs well and drives bookings — but prefer to manage the setup on their own time and with their own systems. It’s also a great fit for homeowners looking to refresh or redesign their living spaces with flexibility and guidance, without the need for in-person meetings.
- 03Absolutely! Whether your space is fully furnished or an empty slate, I can help create a stylish and functional design plan that aligns with your goals — from maximizing bookings to enhancing your guests’ experience.
- 04Not at all! We also work with homeowners who just want to refresh or redesign their everyday living spaces. Whether you're optimizing for guests or making your home feel more like you, Yellow Tulip Designs is here to help!
- 05Yes — after our consultation, we require accurate and detailed room measurements to ensure every layout and design decision fits your space perfectly. Don’t worry — I make this step simple — even if you’re not physically at the property. Whether you're working with a property manager, contractor, or trusted contact onsite, I’ll guide you through exactly what’s needed so you feel fully supported every step of the way.
- 06That’s totally okay! I’ll walk you through a few visual mood boards and ask the right questions to uncover a style that fits your space, budget, and goals. You don’t need to come in with a Pinterest board (but it’s always welcome if you have one!).
